A spellcasters weapon can be used without disturbing casting with somatic components. Spellcaster weapons are often restricted to a special school or a set of spells. A spellcasters weapon adds its enchantment bonus to caster level checks, melee and ranged touch attacks and half their enchantment bonus (round up) to the DC of affected spells. When the wielder of a spellcaster weapon uses a weapon summoning spell such as flame blades, it can transform itself into the summoned weapon, sharing its own enchantments with the said weapon for the duration of the spell.
