Spontaneous Combustion

The Corpus
Level: 3
Duration: 1 turn + concentration (normal) or instantaneous (reverse)
Range: 18m
Save: Reflex negates (normal) or will negates (reverse)

Normal: The universe responds to your words by making a creature a living bomb. Choose one corporeal creature. It starts burning dealing itself 1d6 points of fire damage per two levels that can only be evaded due to fire and spell resistance. If the creature drops below zero hitpoints within the duration of the utterance it explodes dealing 1d6 points of fire damage to creatures within the creatures natural reach. You may target creatures that died in their previous turn, they instantly explode.

Reverse: The universe responds to your words by making a creature refuse to explode.

The target cannot perform any abilities that cause it to explode, such as death throes. It also supresses abilities that retaliate attacks like flame shield or that are connected to angry outbursts such as rage. A successful will saves protects the creature against this utterance.
