Blackout 3: A Boy Cried Dragon

Description: You must start this adventure drunk, i.e. with the sickened condition. Either because of a previous adventure or by buying alcohol for 1 per constition modifier sp. You are caught in a backyard of the tavern and swear there is a powerful red dragon, so you cannot go home and have to stay in the tavern. If you do not have any wound, none will believe you so you need to have at least one wound from the dragon. This time the situation is quite grave, the tavern is located on top of a cliff. That leads 15m down and after 6m the water is deep for diving. The path back to home is guarded by a true red dragon red dragon. There are stretch goals:
Get the dragon to deal damage to you in melee. |
Go back into the tavern and drink a big pint. DC 20 fortitude or you are nauseated. |
Save your wizard friend John from the dragon, they are in the tavern. You need to wake them and they are still sickened and confused unless you explain the situation with a DC 25 diplomacy or investigation check. |
You need to escape the dragon. |
Rewards:
- 1 retrain one feat, known ability like spells
- If saved, John creates one good wonderous item for you worth up to 2k sp. If it is from strange sources, they will decline.
- The dragon can be beaten up for normal loot. Can they tho?
- If you drink the big pint, you can even respec your race really.
- If the dragon dealt damage to you in melee none will call you a liar and drunk.
