None is forcing you to take the dwarven urgrosh mindblade.

Prerequisites: Mind Blade, any Racial Weapon

Benefit: Your mindblade is tread as if it would be on the races special weapon list for the purpose of racial feats and racial bonuses. If your racial weapons are all melee weapon you only get that bonus when using the mind blade in melee. Same holds for ranged bonuses.

Special: The mindblade does not activate abilities that rely on a specific weapon quality, e.g., a short sword mind blade would not grant the bugbears bonus damage with bludgeoning/piercing weapons.
