Between me and the enemy is always the spear and the shield

Prerequisites: BAB +6, Phalanx Style, Alertness, Weapon Focus(Long Spear)

Benefit: While being in phalanx style and adjacent to an ally who is not flanked, you cannot be flanked. While being in phalanx style and adjacent to an ally who is not flat footed, you cannot be flat footed. There is no boot strapping. If both you and your ally would be flanked (flat footed) without this feat, you are also both flanked with this feat.

Special: You can use this feat in conjunction with variants of the long spear, like the great spear. If in doubt, consult with the DM.
