森杏子 was born as the bastard child of an elven mother. In the elven community she was reluctantly brought up with the other children and received basic elven magic education. But she soon realized that time affected her stronger then her brethren and became obsessed with studying how to stop this process to live a life more similar to that of her people. This lead her to become interested in Necromancy early on which the elves didn't take kindly. Happy to finally have a reason to do so they banished the outcast child never to return. She wandered the land selling her skills in magic and sword to the highest bidder to survive steadily gaining more knowledge in the dark arts. After a long journey she finally found a home in Lord Bigtrees (大木) service.

There she met and befriended 竜花. The two of them quickly became best friends, almost like sisters and acted as Lord Bigtrees assassins. 杏子 adopted two main styles of assassinating. The first one started with charming her way into the victims house putting up the act of either an innocent girl in need or a possible future mistress for the victim. Once she was alone with the victim for the first time she slayed it with her magic and rode off on one of her summoned horses. In addition to being her liege Lord Bigtree also took on a fatherly role for them teaching them like he would have taught his children if he had any. The second and, and her preferred style, was a brute force assault with 竜花, slaying the target for everyone to see and riding off again before anyone could to something about it.

Lord Bigtree also highly valued it if 杏子 returned the animated corpses of his rivals for him to keep as trophies.

This went on in harmony for a couple of years until one day they got into an ambush on one of Lord Bigtrees missions. They barely managed to fend of the attackers and to their surprise found a letter signed by Lord Bigtree warning the target of their mission that they would come. They were supposed to be sacrificial pawns in one of Lord Bigtrees schemes which they did not take lightly.

After avenging the betrayal and killing the Lord that had fostered them for so long they roamed Greyhawk together serving no one but themselves in pursue of bigger power and immortality. After they heard of the squad and the might of its members they started gathering information and seeking out the squad in order to join it.
