You restore a stoned creature to flesh again
One hour before the ritual begins, a oliy pasture must be created from blood and dust collected from the stoned creature (DC 15 alchemy). The DM does this roll in secret. If it fails, the ritual still works, however all skill check DCs are increased by the amount of failure. E.g. a roll of 8 in the initial alchemy means all further DC checks are increased by 7. For the ritual itself, at least four participants are needed in addition to the stoned creature. The participants stand in a circle and have to do the required skill checks. Each creature makes one skill check and then the task passes to the next participants (counterclockwise fashion). If a creature fails a skill check, it must suceed on a DC 20 fortitude save or is instantly turned to stone. However this does not mean, that the ritual fails. It simply means, that the skill check has to be done by the next participant. Similarly if a participant leaves during the ritual it is turned to stone (DC 20 fort negates) without the ritual failing. The only way to fail the ritual is, when no participant is left. In this case the stoned creature crumbles to dust.
