Torrent
Level: Warlock, Lesser Fourth
Duration: One turn per level
Action: standard
Range: close
Area: 3 connected 3m x 3m squares along a (curved) line without more than 90 degree turn
Save: Fortitude
You think no water is hard, but this water is definately harder.
You create a strong stream that has a choosen flow direction which is always along a (curved) line. All creatures that enter the stream or are within the stream at the start of the casters turn are bull rushed towards the torrents flow direction and take 1d8 points of bludgeoning damage per level. A fortitude save halves the damage and negates the bullrush.
Torrent does not allow spell resistance.
The caster does not take damage from torrent and is not bullrushed but may surf the torrent and move to any point downstream as part of an 1.5m step or move action (up to 18m). This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Multiple instances of adjacent torrents become one larger torrent, each subpart must not have more than a total of 90 degree turn.
Creatures can only be affected from torrent invocations once per turn.
