The alchemist's reputation is not softened by his exuberance (some would say dangerous recklessness) in perfecting his magical extracts and potion-like creations.

Upon being imbibed, the mutagen causes the drinking person to grow bulkier and more bestial, granting him a +2 natural armor bonus and a +4 alchemical bonus to one physical ability score of his choice, while making him sickened. Only humanoids and monstrous humanoids that are not immune to sickness and nausea can be affected by mutagen. The effects from the mutagen are not magical nature and thus cannot be dispelled.
